Questions

Are my files uploaded?

No. Conversion happens entirely in your browser using built-in audio decoding, so your files never leave your device and there's no upload to wait for.

Is there a file size limit?

There is no hard limit, but files are decoded in memory. Files over 200 MB, such as long videos, may be slow or fail on phones and tablets.

Which bitrate should I choose?

192 kbps is a good default. Use 320 kbps for music you care about and 128 kbps for voice clips and sound effects.

Can I trim the result?

Yes. After converting, press the button on any file to open it in the Sound Editor, where you can trim, fade and upload it as a sound.
